experience designer
& creative explorer
I am driven by crafting meaningful interactive stories rooted in universal human emotion. I thrive in passionate team environments where trust fosters pride, ambition promotes innovation, and transparency enables effectiveness. I dive deep into creative waters.
My personal philosophy βIs it awesome?β allows me to successfully cultivate pride and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams. I am confident across all levels of an organization from entry-level to CEO and everywhere in-between.
you might call me a creative specialist. my accomplishments in game and game-adjacent industries allow me to dive into the micro and the macro of product development.
GAME DESIGN
5 years in small and indie game studios means diving deep into every stage of production from pitch to post-release support. Marrying mechanics with narrative, as well as UI/UX innovations, are my jam.
My studio time saw the release of 8 commercial game products for casual audiences within the adventure genre. (Ask me about my insane production experiences!)
CREATIVE DIRECTION
Every project needs more than a visionβit needs a visionary. 15 years in game and elearning means a history of bringing skilled people together, playing to strengths, and leading everyone to the finish line. Making prototypes and visual mocks fill me with joy.
Speaking the different languages of artists, designers, programmers, producers, managers, executives, and stakeholders means Iβm comfortable in front of just about anyone.
WRITING & STORYTELLING
5 years of freelancing offered me opportunities to narratively design and author serialized fiction. In my spare time, I write novels and short stories (and even submit them sometimes!) to capture the darkness of the human experience with a fantasy lean.
As a proud word nerd, creating plot beats and doing terrible things to my emotionally fractured characters is a past-time.

some pretty great people.
